History:
Before cell phones even before telephones, people communicated through Morse code. Despite being a technology that is over 160 years old, it's still used today among amateur radio users and on some
ships.
Samuel Morse
Morse code was designed by Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail in 1838. Morse code has multiple characteristics that have made it an important and unique writing system. Morse code has its own system of characters that can be arranged to create words that are used to communicate.
Formula:
Here Dit means --> . (dot)
and Dah means --> - (dash)
Always the right side part goes to dit and the left side part goes to dah from the start.
If we want to write E then, the morse code would be one dit i.e., single dot (.)
For example
If we want to write HELLO, then the morse code would be
.... . .-.. .-.. ---
Similarly,
HAI = .... .- ..
SPS = ... .--. ...
